An Agribusiness professional with a Masters in Agribusiness from Australia and more than 25 years of diverse experience in strategic sourcing of textile raw materials including cotton and its sustainable avatars, MMF and Flax for manufacturing value added textiles.Expert in commodity trading especially raw cotton procurement, processing, physical evaluation and grading, logistics, national and international trade, SCM, vendor and price risk management.Passionate about sustainability aspects (Organic, Fair Trade, Better, CMiA, Circularity) of textile fibers, have effectively coordinated multi stakeholder sustainable cotton initiatives in India and abroad.
