Change management: Demonstrate design team value by initiating cross-functional collaboration through design thinking and discovery workshops to align on problem space and co-ideation of solutions. Establish a standard design process to ensure consistent end-to-end design approach and efficiency. Set design team goals to motivate efficiency, innovation, and positive culture. Foster collaboration, creativity and transparency through bi-weekly design show-and-tells. Celebrate and showcase designers’ work through internal recognition program and monthly company meetings. Encourage culture of experimentation and curiosity to drive innovation. Manage direct reports by providing coaching and guiding their career development.
