   Systems engineer in Engine Controls:Responsibilities include leading integration, troubleshooting, and deployment of Hardware Design assemblies, and Firmware and Software builds to deliver Full Authority Digital Engine Control units in compliance with DO-178C and DO-254 and customer and end-user design requirements for engine system integration and integrated product performance. Other responsibilities include qualification/certification/production test development and execution, process development and improvement, product assistance support, and discipline training/mentoring and improvement processes. Services primarily provided to GE Aerospace.Lab Manager:Member of small team dedicated to main engineering lab and short-term storage area operations.Focused on several major objectives:1) Coordinate lab cell space occupancy and resources with development/production programs\' Engineering/Operations teams.2) Procurement, Deployment, and Maintenance of common test and development lab areas, equipment, and resources in support of Engineering/Operations teams.3) Maintain standards for personnel operations focusing on area sanitation, on operator safety practices, and on intellectual property protection and control.4) Coordinate materiel life cycle management including storage, redeployment, or disposition to minimize opportunity cost in capital and inventory waste.Discipline Initiatives and Engineering Process Improvements:1) Developed an introductory course to Engine Controls for personnel new to the product line.2) Developed internal tools for improving Lab Onboarding, for external visitation of controlled access areas in the facility, and for lab inventory tracking and deployment.3) Supporting increased MBSE/MBE adoption across the organization.4) Developing the next generation mentoring and training techniques for discipline.Export Control Tech Data Focal Point:Supporting business-level export control protection activities as a technical expert.
