About Jonathan Irwin
I am passionate about making the world better and I’ve dedicated my life to doing so in healthcare, social impact, and technology work. I joined Carina during its startup phase over six years ago and have been involved in every stage of its development. Taking Carina from design and framing of solutions for the Washington Medicaid market all the way to our current rapid expansion helping tens of thousands of people find jobs and care across myriad national projects.I’ve been in community facing jobs for a long time, and I delight in utilizing my diverse experience when consulting in production, business development, project management, design, and marketing. My mission focus traced through prior work at Community Health Plan of Washington where I built a diverse, culturally competent team that challenged existing outreach models to connect Washingtonians to healthcare, as well as forging partnerships with 100+ organizations. I also helped out Rainier Valley Corps during their startup phase, leading marketing and branding efforts. I’m really interested in hearing ideas about preventing global environmental climate devastation and how my skills could help. I love art - writing, music, comedy, and culinary in particular - and spend most of my free time pursuing these interests.
