In recent 2.5 years, working as a data scientist and data steward to drive couple data-driven initiatives for various teams. The efforts includes defining business KPIs, designing data analytics strategy, conducting service experimentation, implementing data pipeline, and analyzing telemetry data to answer business question. Have 15+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing Microsoft SQL Server. The areas of my expertise spread from Query Optimizing, Parallel Query Processing, XML Database, Semi-structure Data Model, T-SQL Language Processing, and Database Manageability. I also participated in delivering SQL Server as a Platform Service, namely SQL Azure release. In addition to be a software engineer to code and test, I have served as a people manager to lead and build super talented engineer team for 6+ years. The team size various from 6 to 32. I also co-managed 3 international engineer teams with 50+ people and located in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hyderabad.
