Working within a cutting-edge biotech spin-out from the University of Birmingham, I contribute to the development of innovative pathogen-detection assays built on patented technology designed for speed, affordability, and ease of use.My work spans end-to-end assay development, including the production of raw microbiological materials, synthesis and purification of chemical reagents, optimisation of assay performance, and rigorous validation and reporting. I thrive in multidisciplinary environments and collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, and external partners to refine diagnostic workflows and support prototype hardware testing.I bring strong hands-on laboratory expertise, attention to detail, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
