I am a 45 year veteran in the hi-tech sector having founded or co-founded several startups. These include Vienna Systems - a pioneer in the VOIP space - which had a $100M exit and QuickMobile - the recognized leader in the mobile application space for meetings and events - which also had a successful multi-million dollar exit in 2018.In 2014 I was honoured by the faculty of mathematics at the University of Waterloo with the Alumni Achievement Award which recognizes outstanding contributions and achievements in profession or community.My breadth of skills is considerable having actively participated in the birth and growth of the personal computer industry, followed by the explosion of the Internet age and most recently the currently unfolding mobile revolution. I am the architect of a number of cutting-edge technologies including VOIP solutions, mobile application frameworks and cloud technologies.My technical expertise spans a number of disciplines including telecommunications, data communications, web technologies and mobile application development. I\'m a proven leader and visionary who commands a great deal of respect, with a knack for being ahead of technology curves. I\'m happy to speak with anyone about any topics about which I have an informed opinion. I\'ll also be the first to tell you if I don\'t know the answer.
