About Jim Thorpe
I am unique individual with a strong passionate background in Architecture/Interior Design, Food Service Design, Smallwares and Project Management. My Family is the most important thing in my life! I have been in the Food Service Industry for over 30+ years which include design concepts, equipment specifications, labor, environment, and operations. I have extensive and diverse food service experience comprised of design and construction of Restaurants (Proprietary and Chain), Food Halls, Stadiums, B&I, College, Health Care, Innovative Concepts and National/Local Chain Restaurants. I take pride in innovation of design when it pertains to food service and is an advocate for developing new solutions in kitchen operations to optimize labor. Key initiatives include the development of standardization, Sustainability, Autonomous Stores, Ghost Kitchens, Electric Kitchens, Ventless Kitchens, Innovative Food Service Design Concepts and enhancing the overall customer and employee experience.I am also a proud judge of the National Restaurant Association’s Innovative Kitchen Equipment Awards. The board, aimed at reviewing and providing feedback on new and innovative cooking equipment to develop, modernize and advance the industry food service equipment.
