ABOUT JIM SICCARDI

For the past 22 years, I have lived in and loved the world of Wall Street finance, splitting my time between sell-side equity research and sales, institutional investment management, and corporate Investor Relations. At times utility and material sectors have been added to my realm of responsibility but energy and natural resources have been with me throughout. The energy sector fascinates me as it emulates economics in its most basic form, with its fundamental driving force pure supply/demand. What success I have achieved can be attributed to my diligence and desire in building relationships and identifying opportunities. Understanding stakeholder needs and explaining how your company or product can help satisfy them has helped me build relationships and friendships that have lasted years. I take great pride in educating others about the product or concept I am representing. I utilize my story-telling abilities and sense of humor to help ensure my points are well understood. Throughout my career, I find myself in unique situations that are foreign to me, yet I manage to turn those circumstances into accomplishments. I may not have all the skills needed to complete a task but I am well versed in utilizing my network of contacts to augment what I do possess. My journey has left me in the office for absurd hours, sent me on the road for what seemed like months and even had me live half a country away for six out of eight weeks for two years. However, I remain married to my wife (23 years this June) and have raised two wonderful boys, who are as different as different can be, so I must have done something right! When not working, I can often be found watching my son play baseball and helping him navigate the recruiting landscape as he pursues his goal of playing D1 College Baseball.
