Helping People Find Freedom and Purpose in Christ.God’s invitation to a life of freedom and purpose is available to all, yet many miss it while seeking fulfillment elsewhere. Through pastoral care, counseling, and coaching, I guide people into a real relationship with Jesus—where they can find true freedom, discover their purpose, and thrive. With over 30 years in ministry, primarily in churches of I’ve connected people to small groups, discipleship programs, missions, and evangelism efforts. Leadership development has been central to my work, from volunteer training to overseeing men’s, family, youth, and children’s ministries. But my greatest joy? Walking alongside individuals through pastoral care, offering guidance and encouragement in their spiritual journey.

Pastor Jim serves as the Discipleship Pastor at Cross Assembly, overseeing small groups and prayer ministries across all three campuses. His passion is to see every member and attender connected to a group of friends who study God’s Word, pray for each other, and “do life” together. Believing this mission can only be achieved through teamwork, he is dedicated to equipping leaders who share the same vision. Pastor Jim uses the Jethro Model (D.C.L.A. Model) to train and empower others to lead with purpose and impact.
