Miriam was one of the 52 people killed in the \"7/7\" London bombings of 7th July 2005. The Miriam Hyman Memorial Trust has two interrelated areas of work:Miriam\'s memorial: The Miriam Hyman Children\'s Eye Care Centre (MHCECC) within the L V Prasad Eye Institute in Odisha, India. Since 2008 the MHMT has supported the expansion of the MHCECC\'s services. Miriam\'s legacy: Miriam\'s Vision: A Response to the 2005 London Bombings - a set of resources based on Miriam\'s story for teachers of 11- to 14-year-olds accessible at miriamsvision.org. MHMT funds support the evaluation and expansion of Miriam\'s Vision.My role as a Trustee is combined with a role on the Education Advisory Board for Miriam\'s Vision.
