As a Senior General Manager with over 25 years of experience in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), API inspection, and lab services industry, I’ve spent my career transforming operations and driving sustainable growth across some of the most regulated and high-stakes sectors, including nuclear, oil & gas, chemical, and heavy infrastructure construction and maintenance. Currently leading a major division of Mistras Group, a publicly traded industrial services company. I’m accountable for full-spectrum operational leadership, including: • P&L ownership for a $20M+ business unit • Financial forecasting, budget governance, and margin optimization • Regulatory, corporate, and environmental compliance (including SEC visibility) • Contract strategy, key account development, and customer retention • Cross-functional team leadership across field operations, laboratory testing, and digital inspection services One of my proudest initiatives has been the expansion of our NDT laboratory operations, where I led a full-scale facility upgrade that increased testing capacity while minimizing overhead. Through innovative thinking, space optimization, and strategic vendor alignment, we expanded our lab footprint and capabilities without increasing fixed costs, boosting our operational output and supporting larger, more complex projects with fewer personnel. These improvements led to average operating income increases of 45%–75%, while reducing turnaround time and elevating customer satisfaction. What sets me apart is a track record of breakthrough performance. I’ve led my unit to grow revenue by 82%, improved operating income from 10% to 20%, and introduced high-margin service offerings, like Rope Access programs and digital reporting platforms, that created long-term competitive advantages.
