Set direction and framework for Spira Care’s health informatics strategy; collaboratively working with others to establish stakeholder relationships, and drive change throughout the organization • Incorporate knowledge of current HIT trends to drive modernization strategies for data and analytics • Grow and strengthen the health informatics team by understanding and supporting strategic initiatives and priorities, implementing robust reporting and tools, and connecting analytics to health system activities. • Be responsible for the development and maintenance of high-quality, reliable data sources to support primary care operations, quality and safety initiatives, and population health activities. • Leverage knowledge of high-performing primary care practices to advance Spira Care’s maturity model through data-informed improvements, analytics and tools. • Build and lead cross-functional committee responsible for the governance, development and enhancements of key Spira Care systems (ie. electronic medical record); incorporating end-user and staff feedback as well as technology advances • Partner closely with Spira Care’s Medical Director and other Spira Care leaders to align metrics, goals and tools to the key strategy and direction of the organization; translating these initiatives into strategic analytics and informatics projects. • Leverage strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and drive improvements with health system staff – including physicians, nurses, and others – on the interplay between workflows, tools and data • Leads, coaches, and develops team of 3 direct reports promoting an engaged, collaborative and quality-minded culture. Create and lead personal development plans as well as performance plans.
