APSCo Legal Helpdesks and Complaints/Data Accounts- Responding and providing advice on member queries within the stated timeframes- Investigating and responding to complaints and data protection requests received by APSCo and OutSource with GC.APSCo and OutSource “Legal Services” Content- Researching and drafting member briefings, guidance, training, model contracts, and other documentation as part of the legal team- Managing the “APSCo Legal Services” sections and content of the APSCo UK and OutSource website with colleagues. Compliance +- Acting as a day-to-day representative on Compliance + committees and acting as liaison with members, government and other external stakeholders- Maintaining Compliance + standards and assisting with drafting new Compliance + standards for new sectors APSCo initiatives – such as Compliance+ and other APSCo audit, training, and assessments programs.APSCo Compliance Assessments: International Management Companies, UK Umbrella External Assessment, AMRA- Ensuring assessments are maintained and up to date- Ensuring assessments cover key legal/compliance risks, as updated from time to time.Legal Training, Member Presentations, and external stakeholder relationships- Preparing and delivery of APSCo Legal and Compliance training and ad hoc presentations- Representing APSCo at appropriate external events; panels, government meetings, bodies, round tables, etc- Building relationships with Government bodies including DBS, Home Office, HMRC, BEIS, CCS, and DFE and consulting with members and drafting consultation response papers as part of the legal team- Delivering presentations on legislative and regulatory issues affecting the recruitment industry.
