As the Executive Director of Digital Security and Information Assurance at Prasco, the team and I focus on enhancing the cybersecurity and information assurance program. My team develops standard and departmental operating guides, incident response plans, cyber defenses, and continuity planning. We manage risks with various technologies, utilize third-party assessments, and co-manage Security and IT service providers. As part of our risk management strategy, we share this information with various business stakeholders, auditors, and insurance providers. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to lead security programs for healthcare, a Fortune 500 company, a nationally recognized real estate investment firm, and a national Security and IT services firm. These opportunities allowed me to gain knowledge and build a program to align and pass the requirements by cGMP, HIPAA, PCI, and GLBA and achieve and maintain SOC 2 attestation. My commitment to cybersecurity is shown through industry-recognized certifications, such as CISSP and CCSP, and staying active in the community helps with protecting assets and ensuring data integrity within our solutions.

   Prasco is an independent, innovative healthcare company providing solutions in the generic, Authorized Generic, and brand markets.My role as the Executive Director of Digital Security and Information Assurance allows me and my team to educate, secure, and guide the organization\'s Cyber practices. We do this by creating and updating standards and departmental operational procedures and guidelines, collaborating with auditors as necessary, and with our cyber insurance provider. Other responsibilities include third-party assessments, disaster recovery, business continuity, creating and supporting incident response plans and playbooks, and working with third parties to co-manage certain aspects of our environment. As the director, I oversee the budget for digital security and information assets and their implementation, deployment, monitoring, and reporting. To operate effectively requires excellent relationships with internal team members and our trusted external partners.
