ABOUT JIMMY MINGESBRUNEY

Since the beginning of my career in market research and business consulting, I\'ve applied my academic background in psychology to fuel innovative products and services, as well as create a better experience for consumers. For the past decade, I\'ve dedicated my time staying up-to-date with the applications of behavioral science in consumer research. I believe a better understanding of human psychology is key to empathizing with consumers and creating customer-focused outcomes.My experience in market research spans multiple sectors, including financial services, automotive, retail, CPG, and most notably in healthcare, learning from Medicare-age consumers as they navigate through immense complexity in the insurance system.I have experience with several quantitative and advanced analytic research techniques, including online surveys, conjoint, MaxDiff, segmentation, cluster analysis, consumer indexing, TURF, Shapley, Van Westendorp, sequential preference, gabor granger, the implicit association test (IAT) and other reaction time tests. I also have experience in qualitative methods such as focus groups, In-depth interviews, ethnographies, bulletin boards, and online communities.Outside of primary research, I’ve helped my clients synthesize existing data into engaging stories, develop compelling cases to move forward with key initiatives, and guide cross-functional teams in workshops that either creates more comprehensive research or fuel ideas for how to activate on customer feedback. By combining thoughtful methodology with understanding my clients’ overall strategy, I have helped organizations make smarter business decisions grounded in their customer’s feedback.
