About Jimmy Luckman

I’m a higher education leader, educator, and aspiring scholar who cares deeply about creating campus spaces where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. As Director of the LGBTQA+ Center at Pace University, I lead two resource centers and work alongside students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members to build inclusive, affirming communities that go beyond performative gestures and toward meaningful change. My background in student affairs, teaching, and facilitation shapes how I approach leadership, with intention, care, and collaboration at the center. I hold an EdD in Executive Leadership, as my work and research focus on queer leadership, organizational culture, and fostering belonging in higher education.“It is not our differences that divide us.
