ABOUT JIMMY HOPKINS

A North Carolina native, Jimmy is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He and his husband have been residents of Wilmington either full or part time since Jimmy began is real estate career in 2006 and has consistently been a top producer having closed more than 150 million dollars in residential sales since that time. He has developed a team of professionals who treat each client like family. Prior to his career in real estate, he spent more than 15 award winning years in the design/home furnishings industry. Having held his real estate license for a number of years, Jimmy loves the opportunity to work in the coastal area of his home state and combine his design, construction and real estate backgrounds into a new career. In 2020, Jimmy along with his best friend Chris Dunn, started American Coastal Development. Since then, they have developed multiple projects including communities with 250+ homesites as well as properties at Wrightsville Beach and Figure Eight Island. They are passionate about adding developments in the area that will be looked up for years to come as a beautiful use of land in our coastal area. With a focus on development, new home sales, construction and design and a vast marketing reach for those buying or selling existing homes, Jimmy and his team are the leader in builder/client relations.
