Back in 2006, I made a life transforming decision to leave a management position and pursue a career in real estate. I took a big pay cut at first but there is no substitute for loving what you do every day. I started as an appraiser, which provided a solid foundation and gave me a good understanding of value. Within a few years I expanded into investing and property management and also got my license to sell real estate in 2009. I have made more than my fair share of mistakes but as a result, I have gained a lot of valuable experience and insights that I love to share. I am passionate about helping other people solve whatever problem they might have in real estate. Fast forward to 2015. My wife and I have always been very entrepreneurial minded and always looking for business opportunities. In 2015 we started looking into family entertainment, spurred on by our 4 year old daughter. We found an exciting opportunity to open a trampoline park(Launch) in Columbus, Georgia, our home town. We brought this to Columbus because we love the city and knew this area needed an additional entertainment venue for young people. We are both big believers in physical fitness and fun so a trampoline park provides a perfect merging of the two. It also enabled my wife to exit the corporate world and be a full time entrepreneur. It has been a life-changing experience for both of us and opened new doors of opportunity. I started a podcast in 2020 that called the Uncommon Life Podcast that that is focused on growing personally and developing entrepreneurial skills.
