Amity Fish Company is an award-winning, family run Scottish seafood supplier based in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. I founded Amity after identifying a gap in the market for langoustine supply to chefs across the country. Starting with just 6 products, we now offer over 200 SKUs to our customers. From our base at the heart of Peterhead Harbour, Europe’s largest white fish port, we are perfectly placed to source the best available catch and send this to homes and businesses across the UK.We are an MSC certified supplier, and proud to source from sustainable fisheries with quality, provenance and traceability in mind. Amity have also recently achieved SALSA accreditation (Safe and Local Supper Approved) which further demonstrates our commitment to quality and excellence.

ABOUT JAMES BUCHAN
I have been leading a family-run business for over 18 years, supplying high-quality seafood to chefs across the UK and beyond. I founded Amity Fish Company in 2006 after identifying a gap in the market for langoustine supply. Starting with just 6 products, we now offer over 200 SKUs to our customers. We are an MSC certified supplier, sourcing from sustainable fisheries with quality, provenance, and traceability in mind. We also recently achieved SALSA accreditation, demonstrating our commitment to food safety and local sourcing. My background as a skipper and owner of fishing vessels for over 33 years has given me a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges. I am passionate about promoting sustainable seafood practices and supporting the local community. Responsibly sourced seafood from sustainable fisheries is our prime objective to ensure our customers needs are delivered
