About Jimmishea Olee

I started working in the insurance industry in 2001 post 9/11 for the Risk Management Department at Los Angeles World Airports. After 9/11 there was much talk about Catastrophic Management and the role of a risk manager. This motivated me to focus my Business Degree in Insurance, Risk Management and Finance. After graduation I worked for an Insurance Broker in New York for 2 years which really taught me the most about our industry. I was able to participate in marketing meetings, claims disputes and proposal meetings with clients. In 2005 I moved back to Los Angeles and joined Chubb Insurance Companies where I started as an Underwriting Assistant and soon was accepted into the Underwriting Trainee Program. I spent 6 years at Chubb as an underwriter and 5 years at Zurich as a Global Corporate Property Underwriter. Now that I have been broking for the past 7 years - I really do believe this is the best job in insurance. Specialties: I can make almost anyone laugh! I enjoy working hard and pushing myself to do the best at my job!
