ABOUT JIMMIE ODHIAMBO
Student with varied experiences in research, measurement, evaluation and implementation. My interest lies in supporting low income families and children with opportunities to learn and thrive. My primary interests are in Poverty, Wellbeing and Education. I am deeply curious on how to boster resilience in low-income children and families by measuring and identifying psychosocial investments (skills, competencies and mechanisms) at home (and at school). I also have secondary interests in Evaluation of education interventions and social innovations(i.e, EdTech & AI etc). Lately, I have been managing large scale research studies in LMICs and have skills in Research Design, Survey Design and Programming, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Analytical skills (quantitative, qualitative and psychometrics(Structural equations modelling and Measurement invariance)). I am keen on working closely with communities in my research and projects.
