ABOUT JIMMIE CARTER
I am a third-year supply chain management student at FAMU always looking to broaden my knowledge and expertise in supply chain, operations, logistics, and managements principles. I have previously held roles in Finance and Operations in which those experiences allowed me to solidify my passion for learning and the drive for continuous improvement, or kaizen. Again, I am always looking to further my education and I am currently working on Lean Six Sigma certifications to further improve my skillsets and work to implement efficient and sustainable practices in supply chains/operations. With a tenacious drive to always be better than excellent and the reasoning skills to be able to effectively communicate with others in any setting, I am always willing to initiate the hard conversations if there is an opportunity for growth. With my professional background and positive attitude, I believe I would be a beneficial asset to any company that is looking to innovate processes and reduce costs in their distribution networks.
