About Jim Mecham
My 28 year career has been focused on working within industrial rehabilitation, evaluating and treating Work Hardening patients, I have performed thousands of Functional Capacity Evaluations and have worked with organizations with 15 to employees in regards to ergonomics. My undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy, my Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering, and my certification as a Certified Professional Ergonomist has provided me the background to teach other professionals the latest in these areas of expertise. I greatly enjoy teaching other professionals the latest industrial rehab, Work Hardening/Conditioning, Functional Capacity Evaluation and/or Ergonomic evidenced based testing methodologies. As co-founder of OccuPro my responsibilities include strategic thinking associated with customer satisfaction, day to day operations, and global sales of OccuPro’s FCE, Return to Work, Injury Prevention, and POET SaaS Software, and continuing education courses. My day to day focus as the Chief Operations Officer includes developing sales/operation strategies based on company goals, overseeing domestic sales, international sales, and the customer success management team. My direct sales roles include enterprise/major account sales and overall management of the sales process. I remain heavily involved in return to work research, research and development of OccuPro’s SaaS systems, growth initiatives with future education and software solutions, and teaching OccuPro\'s world renowned continuing education courses.
