I am now retired after 34 years with American Woodmark serving most recently as a member of our corporate Human Resources team as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for over 18 years. I had the privilege of coordinating the connection of great people with a great company for a great career.    I joined American Woodmark Corporation in July 1989. I began my career at our Toccoa, GA, Flatstock Plant as the Training Supervisor. I developed training materials and training processes for machine operators and maintenance technicians.I was promoted to Human Resources Manager, at the Toccoa, GA, Flatstock Plant, in September 1995 and served in that role until being promoted to the corporate Manufacturing Recruiting Manager in 2005. Currently as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, I support the hiring efforts across the manufacturing and corporate platforms in all activities related to recruiting and hiring salaried team-members. This involves developing the tools, systems and processes for our talent management system.
