ABOUT JIMIT G.
I am a passionate roboticist and a working professional in the autonomous robot industry. I have completed my Master\'s of Science in Robotic Systems Development at Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University in 2017. I completed my undergrad in Applied Physics from IIT Roorkee, India.During the span of my career, I focused on building robotic algorithms that are production quality some of which are being deployed today to customers. I worked on many areas within robotics listed below1. Object detection, segmentation, multi-object tracking2. State-estimation and SLAM, Sensor fusion3. Intrinsic and Extrinsic Sensor Calibration4. Multi-robot communication and mission planning5. Safety critical infrastructure such as middleware, metrics, smart vehicle state monitoringAll the above projects were implemented from early MVP prototypes and curated to production level code conforming to AUTOSAR standards. Languages used are mainly C++ and python.Apart from professional experience, I enjoy learning and keeping up with new state of the art algorithms and tools that are developed in robotics. I aspire to be an expert in full stack robotics as well as related fields
