This is an exciting and pioneering next generation pebble-bed helium cooled nuclear SMR awarded to Cascade Nuclear Partners (Design-Build joint venture of Aecon, Kiewit, and Black & Veatch). Once brought to life and operational, the facility will provide much needed firm, clean, and reliable electric generation to the Pacific Northwest.
