Other iconic facilities include AI capable data centers in Utah, one gigawatt of utility-scale solar power generation across Colorado/Florida/Texas/California, lithium-ion battery storage co-located at a wind power plant in California, gold ore haul truck in Nevada at the nation\'s largest gold mine, phosphate mining beneficiation facility in Utah, semiconductor memory chip manufacturing campuses in Idaho/Utah, and military airbases in Idaho and overseas. Responsible for serving the joint venture team executing the planning, design, and construction of the Cascade Advanced Energy Facility for Energy Northwest, a Joint Operating Agency in Washington State. This is an exciting and pioneering next generation pebble-bed helium cooled nuclear SMR awarded to Cascade Nuclear Partners (Design-Build joint venture of Aecon, Kiewit, and Black & Veatch). Once brought to life and operational, the facility will provide much needed firm, clean, and reliable electric generation to the Pacific Northwest.
