ABOUT JAMES GAMACHE

Background:Jim is licensed in NH and Maine as a Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Licensed Masters Level Addictions Counselor (MLADC). He has been working in the field of mental health/addiction treatment since 1995. Jim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Springfield College in and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Boston University in 2002. In 2002 Jim was hired by the Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester holding the position of Clinical Case Manager. From 20••••19, Jim was employed at WestBridge Inc. During his time at WestBridge, Jim held the following positions; Clinician, Team Leader, Director, & Chief Operations Officer & Chief of Quality Assurance. In 2019 Jim transitioned employment to GateHouse Treatment Center as the Clinical Director for 10 months. In October of 2020 Jim transitioned to Granite Recovery Centers and served as the Senior VP of Clinical Services and Quality Assurance. In 2023 Jim transitioned to the Greater Nashua Mental Health Center where he is currently serving as the VP of Quality and Corporate Compliance. Professional Experience:• Clinical: Provided 1:1 and group psychotherapy, assessment, treatment/discharge planning, crisis intervention, covered on-call rotation, clinical supervision, consultation, clinical researcher and co-authored a White Paper Outcome Study which was published in the National Journal of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment. • Administrative: Member of the Leadership team, program and operations management, developed budgets, developed and implemented system changes including new Electronic Medical Record, streamlining intake and admissions process, and census management system, obtaining and maintaining National CARF accreditation, marketing and business development activities, Policy and Procedure development, strategic planning, as well as prepared reports and presentations to the Board of Directors. • Marketing and Business Development: Presented at the following conferences; the National Association of Addictions Counselors (NAADAC) Annual Conference in 2008, 2010, 2013, & 2019, the National Conference on Addiction Disorders (NCAD) Annual Conference in 2012, 2016, and 2017, the NH Behavioral Health Conference 2016, C4 Recovery Foundation CORE Conference 2017, & 2018, Cape Cod Symposium 2022, NH Behavioral Health Conference 2022, and NH Suicide Prevention Conference 2023Favorite Quote: “Action is indeed the sole medium of expression for ethics, values and faith.(U.S. Social Worker, 18••••35)” ― Jane Addams
