The Career Center trains and supports international graduate students for a successful job search. Once obtaining full-time employment, the students complete their master’s degree in computer science via distance education. Developed Preferred company program to create relationships with hiring managers resulting in major increase in number of student hires.• Prior to current title, full responsibility strategic planning of the Career Development division in the Career Center. • Previously responsible for managing and training 9 coaches/trainers for Career Strategies classes and workshops to maintain high level of success and professionalism.• Achieved hiring rate of 98% for past ten years.• Increased corporate/recruiter partnerships leading to record level of campus visits and job openings presented directly to students.• Trained over IT students in career advancement skills.• Frequently survey recruiters/hiring managers as to their hiring needs and preferences to stay current with market/interviewing trends.• Teach/Lead Career Strategies classes and workshops with corresponding group practice of simulated interviews. • Coordinate campus company visits and interview schedules with appropriate university offices.• Developed course concepts and wrote training materials with practice exercises and worksheets for 62-page Career Strategies workbook.
