Lead the adoption of delivery practices and key activities across the IT portfolio. Working across both our US and Canadian operations, work with IT and business stakeholder groups to understand the needs, capabilities and expectations to ensure the delivery of product meeting the quality standards and objectives.As a champion of continuous improvements, work closely with the delivery teams and team members to coach and implement the principles, processes and best practices. Guide teams in creating the discipline to stay on track with the release process principles, activities and deliverables, fine-tuning their approach to ensure adoption and optimal team output.Lead training & release process workshops for business analyst, technical and functional teams, as well as for key stakeholders.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, setting & tracking goals and milestones and assigning responsibility.Drive cultural change by championing a disciplined mindset, and ensure the teams are adhering to the process.Facilitate learning and development among employees through individual and team coaching.Coach leaders to ensure adoption of best practices from the top down.Communicate release process principles, practices, and overall operating model across the organization.Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures by teams to monitor progress and improvement.Undertake daily follow-ups with individual team members to ensure projects are on track and goals are being met.Hold stand-up meetings with cross-functional teams to review project status.As a subject matter expert, train and coach analysts on best practices related to requirements gathering, documenting and process mapping.Lead the assimilation of PMO principles and activities into the release process as needed for projects requiring traditional project management, this includes oversight of PM.
