ABOUT JIM ECKEL

I\'m a person who truly enjoys life and I treasure every single day. I\'m passionate about my family, my pets, & my friends. I\'m an avid snowboarder, hiker, and I love playing & watching sports. As for my career, I’ve been a Packaging Engineer for over 25 years but most recently I was a Customer Technical Services Manager. In that role, I was the technical single point of contact with our customers and potential customers. I led or supported their line trials, helped them create specifications, assisted in managing their startups, provided project management, and I helped them identify ways to run more efficiently and save money. As a Packaging Engineer, I worked on package design, mold qualifications, line qualifications, cost savings, sustainability, problem solving, and efficiency projects. I\'ve worked in CPG, home decor, OTC meds, medical devices, and foods. I love working with people and being part of project teams. I love solving problems and I have a passion for finding better & more efficient ways of doing things. I have extensive experience with sustainability, cost savings, package design, managing relationships with suppliers, cross-functional teamwork, and reducing manufacturing complexity.
