I find great joy in supporting CEOs, senior executives and their companies achieve full potential. I help leaders make better decisions, focus on what’s most important, and accelerate business performance. I’ve been the CEO and/or Chairman of 16 companies: twelve private (8 B2B, and 4 B2C), 1 public (B2B), and 3 non-profits. I’ve started 5 businesses and today focus on growing middle market companies in a variety of industries with revenues in the $10M -$150M range. I have led 2 consultancies, one focused on turnarounds and crisis management, the second focused on growth, value accretion and exits. Additionally, I have created a collective with 20 independent best-in-class consultancies serving the start-up, VSB and middle market. I\'ve been told my leadership style is positive, strategic, Socratic, and results oriented. I often reinforce key ideas through personal experiences and memorable stories, and am committed to helping senior executives achieve full potential, for themselves and their businesses, through caring, experience-based advisory. I\'ve served as Chairman and/or Director on thirteen Boards of Directors, including leadership in Executive, Governance, Finance, Long Range Planning, Compensation, and Merger & Acquisition committees. I have additionally driven and participated in sixteen M&A transactions (6 Buy/10 Sell).When it comes to community and other interests, I like to be active and supportive. I’ve worked with orphans in Africa helping create sustainable support systems, led an international medical non-profit, fundraised professionally for a global White House peace initiative and currently work in animal rescue. Through the Arizona Commerce Authority I am an active Entrepreneur in Residence, Mentor and Judge working with technology, life sciences and consumer product start-ups and early stage companies. And finally, I\'m an enthusiastic golfer and competitive sailor, having competed and won races around the world and served as Commodore of St. Francis Yacht Club.
