A Chartered Civil Engineer and experienced Design Manager specialising in the data centre sector, with experience in leading the delivery of complex, mission-critical infrastructure from concept to completion.My focus is on robust design management, driving large-scale data centre projects for industry leaders like Iron Mountain. I excel at directing the entire design lifecycle, ensuring that hyperscale facilities and live campus upgrades are delivered to the highest technical and operational standards. This is achieved by encouraging a truly collaborative environment, integrating multi-disciplinary teams from both architectural and engineering backgrounds to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with client objectives.I am passionate about digital innovation and efficiency. As a consultant designer and design manager, I mastered the art of translating a client\'s vision into technically excellent and innovative designs. Working for a general contractor during the PCSA phase, I developed my commercial judgement, examined designs for buildability, de-risking construction, and ensuring cost certainty from a practical delivery standpoint. Finally, my experience on the client side has given me a deep understanding of the core business drivers, operational requirements, and long-term asset strategies that underpin every successful investment. This comprehensive viewpoint enables me to bridge the gaps between stakeholders, ensuring designs are not only visionary but also practical, profitable, and perfectly aligned with the end-user\'s needs.
