ABOUT JIM WHEAT

Encouraging A.C.E - Authentic / Creative / Empathy.Getting out of bed -Engaging - Creating partnerships with people, companies, brands and communities from all walks of life as dots are connected. Creating - Brand development opportunities as part of parternship programmes which can be spring-boarded digitally.Facilitating - Creative and expressive team building workshops for authentic causes throughout society.A seasoned passionate Artist, strategic partnership and brand development specialist who thrives helping create and drive vibrant, authentic and engaging brands, causes and communities.I thrive on partnerships! Connecting and collaborating with and helping sponsor and develop a rich variety of authentic brands, charitable causes and communities whilst celebrating the great and the good within The Disruptives Art Collection. My shift of focus following an unexpected lightbulb moment during my community engagement programme at H.M.P Berwyn, Wrexham where I realised the value of self-worth applies to others aswell as myself. This epiphany from β€˜ME’ to β€˜WE’ has enabled me to harness my talents and share with others the skills I have learned throughout my career. Originally from the North West of England I studied Civil Engineering at Nottingham University, then my Masters in California before returning to the UK for a career in Sales and Marketing. I moved to Dubai in 2002 where I was fortunate to experience \'both sides of the surreal coin\' through commercial roles both in Construction and Dubai Golf. During a challenging time a decade ago, Art and creativity became my reason to be, a lifeline and a critical outlet to express my feelings as an essential vehicle to help validate my self-worth through my contemporary outlet known as \'Dollarsandart\' enjoying an outgoing retrospective aboard the QE2 since 2016.I now primarily focus on brand development, strategic partnerships, sponsorship, and design through creative workshops with groups, sports associations, corporate enterprises and communities. From helping Stakeholders form, clarify and ultimately achieve their Vision and Mission. This is then interpreted in a contemporary way whilst ensuring the creation of robust brand guidelines and associated architecture in line with a thorough understanding and duty of care. Recent charitable initiatives, creative commissions and collaborations have thankfully kept the creative juices flowing in addition to reflecting upon my own body of work during these challenging times. Onwards!
