Jim Tuttle is the founder and President of Green Lake Jewelry Works in Seattle Washington. He has been a Jewelry Designer, CAD Modeler, Gold & Platinumsmith & Wax Carver during his 33+ years in the industry.As an early adopter & proponent of CAD/CAM, Online Custom work & customer experienced based retailing, Jim has spoken or presented at many industry events, including The Chicago & Dallas INSTORE show, MJSA Expo, JCK Vegas, Seattle Metals Guild & Gemvision Symposiums & round table events. He is also on the MJSA Custom Jewelry Advisory Council.Jim learned jewelry making in a trade shop he started with a family member in Atlanta, GA. He started with repair & restoration work, later focusing more on custom work. During this time he envisioned a better way to bring custom jewelry to the public. He moved to Seattle to start Green Lake Jewelry Works, now one of the largest custom shops open to the public, with over 50 jewelry Artists on Staff. Green Lake has been featured in many publications and was chosen as \"Coolest Big Jewelry Store\" by INSTORE magazine in 2012. They are members of AGTA, AGS, & MJSA. Green Lake is often described as a model for the Custom Jewelry Business of the future.
