I am currently a hospital-based MRI/CT Technologist and MR Safety Officer. I am also a Business Development Consultant for busy multi-modality, multi-facility diagnostic imaging enterprises, and have an achievement-rich career in Radiology Management for the past 20 years. I’ve specialized in high-volume practice operations leadership, new market development, strategic planning, team-building, and advanced diagnostic imaging technology. I am also a clinical Preceptor and Trainer for MRI and CT.Both my business and clinical acumen are well-honed, and I excel at clinical development, patient management, market analysis, workforce planning, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and driving fiscally strong business operations across multiple locations simultaneously. I’m extremely adept in leveraging automation technologies and Six Sigma approaches to elevate productivity, increase profitability, and reduce expenses. Briefly, a few of my achievements include:• Developed a new multi-modality diagnostic imaging center for Bluewater Radiology in Boca Raton, Florida. Added 3T wide-bore MRI, 3D Ultrasound, 640-slice CT and Digital Xray. • Developed two new multi-modality diagnostic imaging centers for Expert MRI in Culver City Hospital and Costa Mesa California. Added 3T wide-bore MRI, 3D Ultrasound, 128-slice CT and Digital Xray. Extended and proctored clinical rotations for allied health students.• Planned, built, staffed and opened two new multi-modality diagnostic imaging centers for POM MRI & Radiology in South Florida, one in Margate and one in Fort Lauderdale. Added 3T MRI, 3D Ultrasound, 3D Mammography Tomosynthesis and DEXA. Added clinical rotations for allied health students.• Planned, built, staffed and opened a new centralized communications center for POM MRI & Radiology, adding major inbound order capacity,• Managed the entire cycle of a major facility expansion at MRI Scan & Imaging with the addition of multiple major modalities. Tasks included proforma, financing, design, construction, application, credentialing, staffing, protocols, marketing and revenue-stream management. Added MRI student clinical rotations, managed the proctoring program.• Increased available table time at MRI Scan & Imaging by 35% without impacting payroll by minimizing shift overlap/overtime and hiring per diem staff for weekends.• Launched an automated and interactive appointment reminder call system to slash confirmation-call labor costs by 90%+ at University MRI and Diagnostic Imaging Centers.
