WORK HISTORY
Vice President, Technology, Strategy & Business Development, Scientific Fluidics & Optics (Sf & o) @IDEX Corporation
I steer the SF & O overall business strategy and its supporting organic and inorganic growth strategies, leading high-level strategic planning for 8 business lines and 1,500 employees globally. I guide the design and execution of plans spanning M & As, business development, and the technology innovation agenda to capitalize on opportunities in the life sciences, in-vitro diagnostics, aerospace/defense, and semiconductor markets. Ever-focused on developing tomorrow’s executives, I provide ongoing coaching and feedback to business line leaders. Delivering significant year-over-year growth, I worked with the SF & O team to design the bottoms-up strategic planning process, shape the 5-year vision, and craft enterprise 3-year strategic plans, supported by market analyses and market-facing innovation. To quickly expand the M&A pipeline, I partnered with the corporate team to develop enterprise M&A processes and set best practices and annual goals for SF & O inorganic strategies.

I later co-founded CyVera Corporation, a VC-backed spin-off of CIDRA, and headed product development for a year and a half before selling the company to Illumina. After the acquisition, I continued to lead the business unit’s product innovation for more than two years. In 2008, I co-founded CIDRA Precision Services, LLC, focused on microfluidics solutions for the life sciences market. Following a turnaround and seven years as a thriving company with profitable growth, we sold the company to IDEX Corporation. I remained on board, taking a newly-created position as the Chief Technology Officer, and I’ve been advancing through executive roles at IDEX ever since. OUTSIDE THE OFFICE I enjoy travel, and I’m an avid outdoorsman, including activities like hunting and fishing. CONTACT ME I am always happy to grow my network and share my expertise. Let’s connect!
