About Jim Selner
Senior Aerospace Manager with extensive Program Management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining cost, schedule, and technical performance through proactive identification, and mitigation of risk throughout the life cycle. My technical expertise is in cradle to grave program management of multiple aircraft modifications and new aircraft completions including integration of specialized missions systems, and ISR. I have experience leading projects in turbine engine on-wing support, overhaul, and repair, as well as heavy airframe maintenance, interior refurbishment, and new aircraft completions. My strengths include serving as the single point of contact for all stakeholders, leadership across functional areas, and risk management. I am also skilled in aviation product support, aviation service center resource planning, material stream planning mangement, and aerospace personnel leadership from technicians through CEO management. Additionally, I am experienced coordinating aircraft modification certification efforts with DER, DAR, ODA, and repair station Chief Inspector to include coordinating efforts for parts qualification through safety and flame testing. Experienced in FAA airworthiness (i.e. PMA, STC, DER/DAR approvals, A/C return to service). I am proficient in Microsoft® PowerPoint, Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® Excel, Microsoft® Project, and Visio.In my current position I serve as Head of Airbus Helicopters Incorporated Service Center Network for North America. The position requires the ability to lead, influence, and form relationships with personnel from the CEO to technicians working on our product line. Additionally it, requires analytical decision making skills which influence the very core of the success of Airbus Helicopters, Incorporated Customer Support.
