ABOUT JIM REYNOLDS
I have 48 years of design-build experience in the commercial mechanical contracting industry. My entry to the industry was \"from the bootstraps up\". What is my background? Primarily negotiated Design-Build, Design-Assist, Progressive Design Build, MC/CM, plus a small handful of Plan-Spec projects. My project experience includes light industrial, commercial office and high-rise, educational, transportation, healthcare, life sciences, aviation, manufacturing, museums, sports venues, clean room facilities, houses of worship, recording and live broadcast studios, performing arts theaters and too many tenant improvements to count.Two of my most recent projects include the North Main Terminal Redevelopment Project at SeaTac Airport and the awesome new Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion.I served for sixteen years on the SMACNA Western Washington Industry Association as a Board Member, a member of the Executive Committee (went through the Chairs), multiple SMACNA-WW committees (Labor-Management, Legislative, Audit, Budget and Finance, Marketing), and the SMACNA National Legislative and SMACPAC Committees.I served as a management trustee and co-chair for the Northwest Sheet Metal Organizational Trust, the only Taft-Hartey market recovery fund in the US, jointly managed by Labor and ManagementI served as a management trustee on the Northwest Sheet Metal Workers Health and Welfare Trust, the self-funded health care plan for the states of Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska.I was a Vistage Key Group member from 2003 to 2012, and participated in a national mechanical contractor peer group (facilitated by Maxim) from 2008 to 2012.
