I am a respected Leader and a Practitioner with success in small organizations as well as multi-national environments with project spend as much as $1.3bn.People know me to drive strategies for projects or operations that add commercial value, mitigate risk and fit corporate cultures.A foundation based on Intrapreneurship means that my Senior Management and stakeholders trust me to ask the tough questions – and sometimes I solve problems that they don’t know they have yet!SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTSSupply Chain Management:⇒ In 2018 for Petronas, spearheaded RFP initiatives that saved over $20MM for projects in 2019.⇒ In 2016 for US Oil Sands, reduced installed cost of project by $18MM from estimate of $83MM. Initiated re-evaluation of all equipment, utilization of surplus equipment and negotiated commercial terms.⇒ In 2016 orchestrated reduction of mining costs by 11%, identified contractor, negotiated a Master Services Agreement that lowered rates and included an equipment availability guarantee.⇒ In 2016 working with R&D, identified alternative product, cutting the chemical cost by 72%. Reduced risk through a long-term fixed price agreement. Influenced supplier to consign product in Texas and improved product quality assurance.ERP Implementation/SCM Processes:⇒ In 2014 at Athabasca Oil Sands, designed and implemented a new enterprise software - Microsoft Dynamics AX & Maximo for Supply Chain, Financial Governance, Warehousing and Operations functions.⇒ In 2009 at Statoil, implemented SAP midway through the Leismer project, promoted to Supply Chain Advisor Canadian implementation. Developed template wording, created the Purchasing training manual and procedures, and trained Manager, Purchaser and Requisitioner roles in Canada.Project Management:⇒ In 2016 for US Oil Sands, established the Class 3 cost estimate for the US Oil Sands PR Springs project. Coordinated incurred costs and provided weekly updates for the project, Finance and Executives
