I love problem solving, especially when it involves leading teams to meet their maximum potential, culture change, creating award winning products, or transforming technical debt into cutting edge solutions. My experience with software development and quality assurance at NASA (Lockheed Space Operations), fast paced startups (Bizfon, Octave, Bluenote Networks), and global enterprise software development (Cabletron, Aspect) have helped me understand the importance of breaking down big rocks into a strategic executable plan so we can continually celebrate our successes and acknowledge and correct any shortcomings with the plan.My most recent experience has involved the transformation of a 20 year legacy product into a cloud ready SaaS offering in the form of Aspect Via The transformation involved redefining Agile for the enterprise with 25+ scrum teams, rewriting the monolith architecture to leverage both IaaS and PaaS technologies, developing AWS technology expertise, and working with Cloud Operations to realize Site Reliability Engineering, CI/CD, and complete R&D culture change. I love what I do everyday especially when it involves working closely with the talented R&D teams I have been fortunate to be around throughout my career.
