In addition to patient assessment for device compatibility we scrub in to the operation to load the heart valve for catheter based delivery.Endovascular Aortic Specialists work with Cardiac / Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Cardiologists for treatment of aortic aneurysms in the abdomen and thorax (TAA) with Medtronic stent grafts (Endurant for and Valiant Captiva for TAA). In addition, we sell the proprietary technology HeliFX EndoAnchoring System, which is indicated for enhancing and prolonging seal between the aortic wall and the Endoprosthesis. We provide patient analysis (via 3D CT reconstruction of the aorta) for device selection with the surgeon as well as provide intraoperative technical support. After the acquisition of the APTUS Heli-FX, I have trained sales forces and physicians in the US and overseas on endovascular stapling (or “endosuturing”) of the stent graft to the aortic wall. Sales Leader and Clinical Trainer at Medtronic for over 20 years. I have also proctored physicians and sales reps, provided technical training and surgical case support at sites in Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and, of course, the US.
