About Jim Murray

Jim is the SVP of HR for the Digital Modernization Sector within Leidos. He leads an HR team that supports employees and 3.5+B in revenue. He has progressive experience developing and managing successful HR functions for both small and large organizations. Jim has worked in multiple business areas within Leidos and has seen his scope of responsibility grow with each organizational move in his 18+ years with the company. His 25+ years of HR experience has been built on a strong partnership with senior leaders, empowering his team to make decisions, building relationships at all levels to understand the business goals, and high integrity and ethics.Jim received his SHRM-SCP through SHRM in 2015, his SPHR through the HR Certification Institute in 2006 and earned his bachelor’s degree from Mary Washington College. Jim is active in the NoVA/ Dulles SHRM peer mentoring program as a co-lead and SME and provides guidance and mentorship to other HR professionals both internally and externally to Leidos.
