He has successfully argued before a jury in Dallas County that his client, a same-sex partner, be appointed sole managing conservator of the child. The Texas Supreme Court has also upheld Jim\'s argument in an Appellate Brief and overruled a mandamus made by the non-biological mother in a same-sex, international custody dispute.
