Key member of the Hydro North American Logistics and Transportation Team am the primary contact for all issues related to DOT and FMCSA Compliance for all North American plants. Also responsible for developing and implementing short and long-term strategies within the transportation and logistics field that ultimately supports the organization’s overall financial and operations objectives.* Develop and implement company policies and regulations related to federal and state transportation regulations.* Oversee all business operations relating to compliance including policies, investments, and procedures.* Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.* Assist with training plant Logistics personnel on company Transportation Management System * Identify, manage, and execute logistics strategies and projects in transport-related areas within North America to drive down costs, optimize rates, reduce accessorial costs, and ensure excellent, uninterrupted service to Hydro plant operations.* Work with assigned Plant leadership to understand their freight lanes, transportation needs and scheduling to improve the overall operation.
