ABOUT JIM MORBACH
I joined the Badlands Tank Lines team in February of 2022 as their Executive Vice President of Driver Resources. Badlands Tank Lines is the largest for hire carrier of crude oil in the United States. My responsibilities include corporate branding for marketing and advertising, recruiting drivers/mechanics/area managers/dispatchers, driver onboarding/processing, compliance of driver records, owner operator hiring/onboarding/compliance and driver retention. Services offered include crude oil hauling, a brokerage division and hazmat hauling. In 2011 I began working for Werner Enterprises. As their Vice President of Field and Government Recruiting, I had responsibility for their external new driver recruiting operations, Veteran recruiting programs, the field recruiting team, and the professional relationships and hiring initiatives for hundreds of truck driving schools nationwide. I worked with the Commercial Vehicle Training Association to establish best practices and legislation to improve safety in the transportation industry.Prior to Werner Enterprises, I served over 21 years in the United States Air Force. The majority of my military career was in the Security Forces, in addition to being a First Sergeant, Recruiter and Retention Manager. I have deployed all over the world to include tours in Iraq, in addition to Countries throughout the Middle East, Pacific, Europe and Central America.
