ABOUT JIM MARTIN
My mission is to inspire, enrich, and build character in our community and serve as an advocate for efficient and effective correctional health care. I am a certified instructor through the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and through the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, a graduate of the Police Executive Leadership Academy (PELA) and served as the Assistant Jail Commander. As the Assistant Jail Commander, I served as a liaison for the Vanderburgh County Jail and our Mental Health Community partners and as an Accreditation Specialist. Now, as Vice President of Program Development, I hope to be a resource for all of your correctional health care needs within the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC). Specialties: Disaster preparedness and planning, crisis mitigation, critical management evaluation, youth mentoring, tactical communications with emphasis on deescalation techniques, organizational behavior specialist, project manager, facilitator, and a correctional health care specialist.
