About Jim Keogh
The foundation of my career was forged in Sales and Commercial activities. Over the years, the Oil & Gas industry has taken me to the four corners of the Earth where I was able to engage with people in over 60 countries, bringing technical solutions to their Oil and Gas challenges. I have always found this industry fascinating: it’s complexity, business structure, technology focus, regional diversity, and the people that it attracts. When you boil it all down, it has been the driving force behind the energy that has powered the globe. I consider myself to be very fortunate to be a part of it all.People are an area of interest for me. Despite advances in technology, there is very little in this world that you can do without personal interactions at some point. Thus, over the years, I have sought to maintain an open, understanding, and curious position when dealing with people. It is has given me the opportunity to be there for those around me, whether it’s through sharing my own experiences or simply listening. I derive the greatest sense of joy and satisfaction when I can add value to a task, relationship, or situation. It brings out the best in me and provides continual encouragement.
