About Jim Jacobsohn
I manage the Vizient Data and Digital Sales and Client Relations team, which allows me to combine my interest in strategy, quality, operations, healthcare and client services. The Sales and Client Relations team identifies the right analytic, intelligence, consulting and managed service solutions for thousands of hospital, health system and life science organizations allowing them to make more informed executive decisions. The team sells and supports Vizient clinical and operations analytics, as well as Sg2 analytics, intelligence and consulting services. I frequently visit our members, spending time with Executive teams to understand their priorities and how Vizient and Sg2 can assist them with achieving their goals. I present frequently at conferences across the country and love a good opportunity to connect with an audience on a podcast or webinar. My other professional passion is building and managing teams. I bring a customized approach to each member of the team while also outlining consistent expectations for all. I firmly believe that if you’re doing the right work with a great group of people, it should be fun. I’m incredibly proud of the people I’ve brought together over the years, many of whom have remained part of the organization for many years. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me reading endless articles on politics, planning my next meal while eating the current one, watching Philadelphia or Northwestern University sporting events, listening to a wide variety of music, supporting Gilda\'s Club Chicago, sitting with my wife watching our son play in a sporting event somewhere in the Chicago area or sipping a glass of good wine – or ideally some combination of these activities.
